Did We Really Need Another Mummy Movie?

brendan 'i need work' fraiser god damn thinks so. and i guess jet li does too. so fraiser is once again fighting an mummy but this time this said mummy is asain. spooky stuff i know. i don't know about you but all i think ask is why? why after seven years do we need another fucking movie? at least rachel weisz had enough to god damn realize that this movie is going to make zero profit once the box office number's come out. and on am i excited for that day. i'm calling off work, turning off my cell phone, and lighting candles to watch the mummy let's see if this pays off make no more than $19 million in first week box office returns. can't wait.

The End Is Near -Wall E Edition-

here at the new scream times we pride ourselves in warning mankind of what will lead us to our demise. with this mentality at hand, i have decided to post any videos of robots or animals doing people things under the heading 'the end is near.'

in this edition we have a live action wall e robot from new pixar 'toon of the same name. this doesn't really scary because i'm threatened this robot might take my job, but simply because of how god damn cute he/she/it is. this type of unbelievable cuteness gives me the idea that he/she/is is hiding his murderous rage some where behind those curt robot puppy dog eyes. i just know it.

Nick Cave Is Pretty Cool

nick cave might be the coolest person to walk this planet, period. alright not much to post here other than this is nick cave and the bad seeds new video 'more news from nowhere'. i want nick cave to write another script like the proposition but i don't know if they will ever happen. what does that have to do with this video, nothing. i just wanted to put that out there.

Bill O'Reilly is a Kind Soul

as it turns out bill o'reilly has been asshole from day one. this amazing clip shows billy boy flipping out at a teleprompter operator and screaming 'fuck it'. i love the internet and its inability to forget anything. this fucking clip is from 1997 when bill was then the host of inside edition. well at least now we know that working for o'reilly is a walk in the park and that he's not a complete diva. if he doesn't have only green peanut m&ms and an asain geisha to give him his daily footjob he acts like a 1st grader sans his fruit roll up.

N.E.R.D. Cause Controled Chaos

n.e.r.d. performed 'everybody nose' last night on letterman and they came with quite a crew. their posse ducks and dives to the funky drum beats of two full drum sets. i never really got why bands needed two drum sets for talk show performances but whatever i guess. n.e.r.d.'s record comes out soon and i'm pretty excited to be honest with you. i just want to hear another single from their record. that would be nice.

Yeasayer Seem Fun

there's nothing better than making music in a metro station right? right. here we have yeasayer, who make indie world music if you were unaware, performing 'no need to worry/redcave' for the great series found at the link below. not much more to say. enjoy.

The X-Files; Does Anyone Care Anymore?

in case you didn't know, there's a new x-files movie coming out on july 25th. judging by the trailer below mulder and scully have been apart and have to come together to solve another mystery of the unknown. i'm confused why a movie studio would greenlight a sequel to a movie that was released almost ten years ago. plus, get this, xzibit is an fbi agent in this probable piece of shit. the x-files; i want to believe out july 25th. i'll probably see it. maybe. we will see.

MMJ on SNL

my morning jacket performed 'evil urges' on saturday night live this past saturday. i love jim jones straight wailing on a falsetto almost as i love other things like fun and pussy. i've been kicking myself ever since i missed them at bonnaroo two years ago. i guess they played for almost three hours while everyone smoked pot, took acid, and enjoyed a classic tenne-key sunburn. god damn i wish i could have been there. can't wait for mmj's new record which is out in a couple weeks. enjoy.

Travel The World With Death Cab

here we have death cab for cutie's new video 'i will posses your heart' from their new record narrow stairs (album cover above). i haven't really listened to death cab since the transatlanticism record, but i don't hate this song. the video on the other hand, i think i hate. if i wanted to see a girl travel the world whilst looking pensive i would have rented lost in translation/any movie with scar jo. anyway enjoy the clip.
