Mark Wahlberg is MAX PAYNE

So Hollywood's hard-on with turning video games into movies is evident once again with the release of the Max Payne trailer (which you can find below).  The movie stars Mark 'Don't Call Me Marky Mark' Wahlberg and Marlow from The Wire doing a weird accent.  Needless to say this looks stupid and I feel bad for Wahlberg who appears to be on some sort of slump (fuck The Happening).  I know he'll bounce back because he's the shit and he will do whatever he wants.

Donkey Punch: The Movie (no really)

England is responsible for some of the greatest pieces of art in the history of humans, but I'm not sure where Donkey Punch falls in their creative cannon.  The premise of the movie goes like this:

After meeting at a night club in a Mediterranean resort, seven young adults decide to continue partying aboard a luxury yacht in the middle of the ocean.  But when one of them dies in a freak accident (ed. note bitch gets donkey punched to death) the others argue about what to do, leading to a ruthless fight for survival. (imdb)

Simply brilliant filmmaking.  See the trailer below courtesy of Videogum.

Man Man Does Black Cab

Man Man - Doo Right (Black Cab Sessions)

Hopefully It's Not The Trees That Are Causing This

Here is the new trailer for Blindness the new film from Fernando Meirelles, director of such previous works as City of God & The Constant Gardener.  The plot, which is based on the Nobel Prize winning novel of the same name, is quite a bit like The Happening (you know where the trees cause people to kill themselves), but it has a better cast including Danny Glover.  I pretty much put all my faith in Meirelles simply because City of God is one of the best films of the past decades if not one of the greatest ever made.   I just hope the presence of Mark Ruffffffffffffalo doesn't spread his boring personality throughout this whole movie.  We can only wait to find out.

Pineapple Express: The Game

I think you have to be completely whacked on the greenest/dankest weed on the planet to enjoy a game like this.  Be that as it may, this shit is fun and maybe I am high as a kite right now but who gives a fuck.  To get to this viral promotion for the Dale & Saul's High Gone Wrong aka Pineapple Express click here.

Fred Durst Returns

Not at all actually. Who could've known this fucking guy would make it out alive?

Micheal Bay's DARK KNIGHT Script

Nic Cage Makes The Number 23 The Second

'Cut Me Some Freakin'(slurred) Slack'

Nic Cage, hair plugs and all, stars in Knowing and new film from the director of Dark City, I Robot, and The Crow.  The plot seems to be about the exact same as that Jim Carrey disaster from a couple years ago.  I really just don't understand how Bejamin Gates continues to get work, but i guess someone still loves him.  Anyway enjoy the trailer below.

Japanese Beatles Cover Bands

Doesn't that headline just make you wet? It's The Silver Beats, Japan's finest (I feel alright saying that, because I've checked out others) Beatles cover band. Currently working on getting them over here to the U.S.S. of A. to fulfill my wildest dreams.
EDIT: Nevermind, looks like they'll be playing the Virgin fest, and strangely enough, will be backing Chuck Berry during his set, too.
