The Onion Movie Goes To DVD

as we all know (if you don't you're a complete idiot) that the onion is a satirical website that posts funny/fake news stories. what you might not have known is that around a year ago they made a movie for theatres that plays like kentucky fried movie. if you have never seen kfm it is basically a sketch comedy movie and the onion is trying to take a stab at it. this makes me mad because it looks funny enough to have warranted a theatrical release, but the fat cats said no. so on june 3rd the onion movie hits dvd. i'll rent it and probably forget to return it for a week thus paying the manager's of my local video store's electric bill for the month of june. get it, it's a rip off.

here is the trailer for the new coen brothers film burn after reading which seems to be a little bit lighter than last film, no country for old me. the plot goes like this: A disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent ends up in the hands of two unscrupulous gym employees who attempt to sell it (imdb). the movie stars brad pitt, george clooney, tilda swinton, frances mcdormand, and john malkovich. check it below.

the new red band trailer for step brothers came out a couple days ago and here it is finally. the story is pretty simple really, will ferrell's mother marries john c. reilly's father and the new step brothers hate each other, but as time goes on they discover that they have more in common than they would have thought. i really hope that this is funny because i have always thought that will and john are a great comedic team. i think with adam mckay (anchorman, talladega nights) directing i think we might have something good to look forward to.

'Choke' On Some of This

well here we have the trailer for choke based on the novel by chuck palahniuk. choke stars sam rockell as the main character who's a sex-addict who goes to up-scale restaurants, pretends to choke, and then swindles money from his saviors. overall looks pretty funny. i bet there will be sex and bad language throughout, and we all know that can make a movie good and all, but it is also the way to a man's heart.

so i was just sitting watching bet now with my roommate and this bumpin jame came on. said jam is estelle ft. kanye west - american boy, and it's a cerified summer jam. will.i.am. produced and wrote this song which came as quite a surprise. check the video out below if you don't believe me. you will be surprised as to how hot is actually is. she is smoking as well which is never a bad thing.

Stealing From The Girl Scouts -REALLY???-

Weezer Makes New Weezer Song

alright i guess weezer has a new record coming out this summer and guess what, it's a self titled release. this time it's going to be subtitled the red album. i used to be crazy for weezer but that was when i was in high school and since then my desire to listen/buy has dipped extremely low. i do think this is a good song but it does song like every other weezer song ever released. whatever, enjoy the clan of youtube 'celebrities' finally getting another shot at fame. i don't think anyone has the balls to tell these youtube video dudes that the only reason their vids get millions of hits because we are all happy it's not us making assholes of ourselves. enjoy weezer - pork and beans.

'Mediate On That'
