Hopefully It's Not The Trees That Are Causing This

Here is the new trailer for Blindness the new film from Fernando Meirelles, director of such previous works as City of God & The Constant Gardener.  The plot, which is based on the Nobel Prize winning novel of the same name, is quite a bit like The Happening (you know where the trees cause people to kill themselves), but it has a better cast including Danny Glover.  I pretty much put all my faith in Meirelles simply because City of God is one of the best films of the past decades if not one of the greatest ever made.   I just hope the presence of Mark Ruffffffffffffalo doesn't spread his boring personality throughout this whole movie.  We can only wait to find out.

Nic Cage, hair plugs and all, stars in Knowing and new film from the director of Dark City, I Robot, and The Crow.  The plot seems to be about the exact same as that Jim Carrey disaster from a couple years ago.  I really just don't understand how Bejamin Gates continues to get work, but i guess someone still loves him.  Anyway enjoy the trailer below.

Doesn't that headline just make you wet? It's The Silver Beats, Japan's finest (I feel alright saying that, because I've checked out others) Beatles cover band. Currently working on getting them over here to the U.S.S. of A. to fulfill my wildest dreams.
EDIT: Nevermind, looks like they'll be playing the Virgin fest, and strangely enough, will be backing Chuck Berry during his set, too.

This Movie is Getting a Small Release I Bet

warner brothers will not stop with the shit for the dark knight.  my only problem with seeing new tv spots everyday and peeping new screenshots by the hour is that it only makes my proverbial batman hard-on harder (which i don't think is possible because it's pretty much as hard as fred durst gets when he watches the video for 'nookie').  if you really want a spoiler you wan watch the first 5 minutes of one flick to rule them all here.  you won't find me there 'cause i'm a purist (yeah right, i watched this like 4 months ago).
