Ben Stiller Missed ¡Three Amigos!

so ben stiller has written and directed a new film entitled tropic thunder which stars stiller, jack black, and a 'black-faced' robert downy jr. now don't get me wrong this looks like a funny movie but this just seems to be just a combination of a few different 80s comedies. first off the whole story is a complete rip off of the chevy chase, steve martin, martin short comedy classic ¡Three Amigos! if you are an idiot and have never seen amigos the story goes like this: Three unemployed actors accept an invitation to a Mexican village to replay their bandit fighter roles, unaware that it is the real thing (imdb). now the second movie thrunder is stealing from (although inderectly) is c. thomas howell's soul man (To achieve his dream of attending Harvard, a pampered teen poses as a young black man to receive a full scholarship.
