Alan Ball Loves Suburbia

here we have the trailer for alan ball's new movie towelhead. if you didn't know, or can't remember, ball won an oscar for american beauty and also created the hbo series six feet unde(which i personally found more depressing than entertaining; it sucks). this movie actually looks funny and kind of creepy. it's basically a coming of age story in the suburbs but instead of a white girl's struggles we get an arab girl who really loves to go all the way. along with her sexual exploits we see aaron eckhart hitting on/taking our young protagonist out to dinner. if no reservations was any indication about eckhart's talent/lack of ability to read scripts, this might suck. here's hoping we don't get any male/female cooking rivalries that end with a happy ending/mrs.michael douglas getting what she wants. or abigial breslin.
