robyn performed 'cobrastyle' (a teddybears cover) last night on the late show with david letterman. this cover is fire and we here in the u.s.a. finally get robyn's new album self-titled disc which was originally released in 2005 in her homeland of sweden. every time i hear a new robyn song, or read any press related to her, i always flash back to my prepubescent 5th grade year. while that song 'show me love' was tearing up the pop charts, she was melting my heart. i knew at that point in my life that i wanted to do something with her, but i was unsure what i actually wanted to do. now i realize that i wanted to make it with her. make it with her real good. real soft like. one of my catholic grade school friends actually had a poster of 1997 robyn above his bed. miss robyn had a big hold on us here in central pa. you know what else got us moving around that time, nesquik and trampolines. that's right it was swedish chicks, chocolate milk, and distancing ourselves from the ground that really got our hearts racing.
