a faulty chormosome is a band from austin, texas that i have grown very fancy for over the last couple of weeks. as listed on their myspace page they consider themselves 'indie/showgaze/bossa nova'. these guys are really talented and i recommend that you check out their debut record 'as an ex-anorexic's six sicks exit' which they are releasing through their myspace page. you can download the record for free on their myspace or you can throw them a donation. they are looking for donations of $6.66 but they will take what they can get. check it out.
